On the Road : Companion Animal Cultural Complex
A surge in families raising companion animals has been followed by a rise in various social issues. Societal awareness and mature attitudes toward companion animals is essential for life alongside animals. This cultural complex aims to provide an open space for everyone—companion animals, their guardians, and even those without companion animals—to experience and learn how to foster a culture of harmony and mutualism.
반려동물을 키우는 가구가 증가한 만큼 유기, 학대 등 다양한 사회문제들이 함께 발생하고 있다. 반려동물과 함께 살아가는 것에 있어서 무엇보다 중요한 것은 반려동물과 같이 살아가는 사회의 성숙한 태도와 인식 수준이다. 반려동물과 반려동물 보호자 그리고 더 나아가 반려동물을 키우지 않는 사람들까지 모두 같이 공생할 수 있는 사회를 만들어가기 위해 함께 체험하고 교육받을 수 있는 열린 문화 공간을 제공하고자 한다.
Life with a companion animal is like a journey. Journeys make us grow. Sometimes happy and other times sad, journeys involve endless conversations and learning from one another. The image of journeying is visualized by the ‘On the Road’ experience of learning to understand each other through companionship.
반려동물과 함께 살아가는 삶의 모습은 하나의 여행과 같다. 서로 끊임없이 대화하고 배워가며 때로는 즐겁고 때로는 힘든 순간들을 발맞춰 앞으로 나아갈 때, 여행은 우리를 성장시킨다. 함께 경험하고 서로를 배워갈 수 있는 On the Road의 경험을 즐거운 여행의 모습으로 시각화하였다
On the Road was created to help groups of like-minded people to share knowledge with each other(1. Community) and engage in social activities(2. Donation), hoping to foster an advanced culture for animals.
(1) Community provides writing formats and layouts to make it easier to write and read content about animals.
(2) We share detailed information about the donation to build credibility with donors and induce a virtuous cycle of
donation activities.
